Sacred World Interdependence Day Gathering: Thursday, July 4th-Sunday, July 7th.
We were all born to be creative. Sacred World Interdependence Day (SWID) around July 4th weekend brings people together to reclaim inspiration through the performing (expressive) and healing arts, and through building healthy relations to the world we are a part of.
SWID offers a variety of in depth classes in wild crafting, sustainability, alternative healing modalities, sacred dance, shamanism, circus arts and community activism etc. Musical acts take the stage for your dancing and listening pleasure. Artists gather to create interactive art installations to engage and inspire.
On Friday night The Sacred World Bellydance Review will be showcasing local dancers and artists. On Saturday night we hold an all night Sacred Fire Circle Ceremony bringing a sense of ritual, renewal and healing by drumming, dancing and singing till dawn.
This is a camping event. Attendees are asked to bring organic food to share, or can purchase meals on site. We also ask that everyone offer an hour of service to help hold the event.
