In Women Who Run with the Wolves, Dr. Estes uses multicultural myths, fairy tales, folk tales, and stories chosen from over twenty years of research that help women reconnect with the healthy, instinctual, visionary attributes of the Wild Woman archetype. In this book, Dr. Estes has created a new lexicon for describing the female psyche. Fertile and life giving, it is a psychology of women in the truest sense, a knowing of the soul. Rhea Odegard, a creative teacher, visionary healer and artist, with permission of Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, will be facilitating a closed women’s circle themed on the Wild Woman archetype. Using the stories from Dr. E’s book, as well as interactive creative projects, we will tap into, explore together, and engage in dialogue with the Wild Woman in each of us; and hear what she teaches us about our ‘selves’ and each other. Part 1 of this two part 8 week series will be held on Thursday eves in the Fall beginning on Thursday, November 17th from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Space is limited and will be held sacred and intimate. Please contact Rhea via email by Tuesday, November 15th to set up a brief preliminary phone chat and to secure your space in this sacred gathering. Space will be filled on a first come basis. A suggested donation of 20 dollars is encouraged each week to support the work. However, money should not deter you from attending this special event. All women are welcome regardless of economic ability. Come join us in kindling the creative flame and embracing the Wild Woman in YOU! If you are not able to attend this part of the workshop series but would like to be informed in the future of others, please reply with a “Howl” to remain on the email list. This workshop will be held at Earthlands, 39 Glasheen Road, Petersham, MA (In the Lodge, 2nd floor— Drive directly up to Lodge entrance.) Looking so forward to creating and sharing (running) with you all! Warmth and blessings, Rhea Odegard firstname.lastname@example.orgTags:
