1980 Creation of Outdoor & Environmental Leadership Program at Greenfield Community College
1991 Founding of the Mission & 10 Principles of Earthlands by Larry Buell while on a 4-month journey to Russian and Siberia.
1992 August- First call for Earthlands community
1993 January- Sixteen founding members commit to Earthlands, an intentional Earth-centered community and public program center.
1995 Re-visioning the future of Earthlands. Program center receives all assets and intentions of Earthlands
1998 Program center on inactive status for one year. New phase of re-visioning amd strategic planning for the future
2000 Re-opening of Earthlands Public Programs Center
