Volunteering & Visiting

Earthlands is a great place to explore sustainable living. We consider this sacred land and it doesn't take long for visitors to feel in awe of the beauty, energy and abundance of life here.

There are two main ways to visit Earthlands, either as a volunteer or as a visitor. We are open seasonally from April to November. Please inquire in advance if you're interested in volunteering or visiting as we are not always able to host guests.

Volunteering

We love having new people bring their energy, passions and support for the vision we are creating here. Our work-exchanges offer participants a sense of life here through connection with the land, and through the transformative experience of building a community through the summer high season. Volunteers are expected to work 6 hours/day and Earthlands provides food and lodging. We have many on-going projects that volunteers can get involved with, such as gardening, site maintenance and special building projects. Volunteers help the on-site staff prepare meals and encourage all those who visit to really get involved in community life here.

Visiting

For those who are looking for a retreat to renew and connect with the beautiful land here, there is also the possibility of paying for lodging and food. There are a couple different lodging arrangements, depending on availability. We have community meals prepared by our staff which you are welcome to join. For rates, please see our fees page.
